The idea for the Showtime transpired by Ron he went to Costco about years back when he suddenly realized that there was a long line of consumers hanging around to get chicken from the in-store rotisserie ovens. They touched on rotisserie poultry, but Ron understood one thing: they did not have a rotisserie range. Ron went house and called Backus. With each other, they purchased a glass fish tank, an electric motor, a heating element, a spit pole, and a handful of other spare parts, and started tinkering.

    I had a similar cooking device in the past, a belt in it eventually melted and broke. I loved how it cooked the food though, great device. Great roaster, and great speed. Think I will buy another one again soon actually. Friend gave me the last one. You can find these type of things in flea markets, thrift stores, garage sales, ebay, and of course retail on the infomercials for the brand spanking new versions.
