The idea for the Showtime transpired by Ron he went to Costco about years back when he suddenly realized that there was a long line of consumers hanging around to get chicken from the in-store rotisserie ovens. They touched on rotisserie poultry, but Ron understood one thing: they did not have a rotisserie range. Ron went house and called Backus. With each other, they purchased a glass fish tank, an electric motor, a heating element, a spit pole, and a handful of other spare parts, and started tinkering.
